How it works
Do the following steps to avail yourself of the full benefits of TrainingPayback®.
First - create an account
You need to create an account so that you can enjoy the privacy of your own work space in TrainingPayback®. With your private account only you and your invited reviewers and collaborators would be able to view your goals and comments. If you already have an account, simply login with your username and password.
After creating your new account and signing in to your existing account you have two options. You can either Create Goals (Step 1 below) or Select MyTopics (Step 2 below). Either way, you will be required to create goals with your topic selections.
Step 1 - Create a Goal and Action Items
By creating Goals and Action Items – means that you plan on when, where and how to apply the Performance Ideas (what you learned) from the learning sessions. (Usually you create goals and action items to solve a work-related problem, challenge or set of tasks.)
An important part in Goal preparation is anticipating or estimating a monetary value that you may realize by achieving the goal, such as: increase in sales, cost cutting, compliance savings, efficiency savings, and others. This activity will allow you to focus on results. The Estimated Monetary Value is an “intelligent guess” of the measurable outcomes of your goals.
You can always edit or delete your goals. You can also have multiple goals for the session.
Step 2 - Select Topics
If you wish, you can first briefly set aside Step 1, creating goal and action items, and alternatively select topics. After selecting the topics, you can create goals.
You are required to create Goals to accompany your topic selections.
Step 3 - Request for Approval or Review of your goals
After selecting your topics, creating goals and action items, you can invite reviewers. Reviewers are our leaders, managers or collaborators. Invite your managers to approve your plan and the budget to attend the conference and learn from the sessions. Invite speakers, mentors, or your peers to provide you ideas and assistance in the implementation of your goals and action items.
Reviewers can view your goals and action plans, and provide comments in the “Comment” Sections.
Step 4 - Update the Progress of your Goals and Action Items
In reporting the progress of your goals and action items, you may add comments, complete the percentage completion, and rate the Performance Ideas contribution. The updates allow you to track your progress and share the information with your leader, mentors, or peers.
Step 5 – Show Proof of TrainingPayback®
The final phase of your learning justification is to show to your leaders, peers, and collaborators the Measurable Outcomes from realizing the goals and applying the learning and Performance Ideas.
